that they love war and hate Gay people. But they also love
to dump their dumb ass religion in people's spaces. Why
don't they ever ask me what I think of Christianity so I can tell them I think it's a dumb and offensive religion full of dumb and offensive people ? But no, they are sure I need to see their little gems of garbage = (
- Well some time has passed. It isn't just one month after Obama has been in office. And much has happened.
Those of us who didn't vote for Obama are, among other things, glad we don't have that on our conscience. Because we were not wrong. I, like many of the people I respect didn't vote for Bush and didn't vote for Obama.
Some things never change. The Obamahead fan club just keeps rolling on. They only want to know if you are for or against their precious president. And their responses are as robotic and blind as ever. Which isn't to say *all* those who fell for the B.S. in 2008 are still delighted with the president. It's just that there is little point in wasting time on people who are deeply hooked into team Democrat, or team Republican for that matter. Many of them are pleased as punch with everything the government does as long as their party is in power. They don't see much of anything wrong going on. And if they do, it's the other party's fault in their minds. Both parties however are still corporate ruled parties and war loving parties. We keep eroding the Constitution, becoming more like a police state, and less able to understand what needs to be done to take back the country.
- Internet Adventures - I keep seeing these folks who have A LOT of accounts all over the social networks. Often they have several pages/accounts in the same places. Bless their hearts I wonder if they have severe memory loss or what. They sure don't seem to remember people or talk to them for long, but want to stay friends. When some delete you and then want to add you back several times you have to wonder :) I remember one gal who did this knowingly, adding, deleting and adding again, always saying please and very nice when she came back.
I always thought she'd explain this one day but she never did.

There is one such guy on my list here who doesn't know how to post or doesn't pay attention to what he is doing. He makes 10 duplicates of the same post. If he makes five posts it knocks everyone else's news off the update pages. And he also has more than one page here inviting me to both.

- Happy Spring To All ! Celebrate By Supporting The Peace Movement In Every Way Possible !
- Just personal thoughts on Pop music. While I really like all kinds of music, I have always needed my dose of Pop. I took a long vacation away from the Top 40 charts though. When I came back I was pleasantly surprised to find two white gals holding the number one and number two spots. And they were singing about love and having a good time. Let me say that unlike many of those my age and older I've enjoyed a lot of Rap and Hip Hop. But I have had a couple of gripes about it. When it took over the Top 40 one thing that happened was that movie soundtracks that used to be music from movies became just a big promo tool --- the music was good but had nothing to do with the movie. Still my biggest turn off in this genre is the words, but let me be more specific. After awhile, listening to some guy talk about how he has money, loves money, always thinks about money and loves to spend his money on lots of expensive junk is tiresome. Before Hip Hop came on the scene I couldn't stomach white men who were focused on money ...... people of color obsessing about it isn't better. To be fair, Pop music is more about a good sound than the lyrics. But the fixation on money is really overdone and not my idea of good fun.
- Just my WTF? for today. Why is it that ( not here but on another site ) I get invites from men who list their religion
as Muslim, and their pages are covered with porn ? They are usually in other countries. The women on their pages are usually Caucasian ..... while I'd venture to say that women in their communities wear at least a scarf or even a full body covering. Are these real Muslims or are they simply like American Christian men who read Playboy magazines ? It's happened often enough for me to wonder about it.
- Well after about a week offline I finally got back.
Thank you very much for the B-Day wishes and comments my friends ! I haven't been around much I know but there have been a lot of hospital visits for my family .... things will get back to normal after I'm through with this darn cold.
